Created some lavender filled felt hearts for Valentine's Day.
During the summer we collected lots of lavender, they are so pretty and smell great. I thought that I will fill some felt hearts with them. I felt that the hearts are a bit too light so I added some salt to the lavender.
I made a brooche, a gift tag, a necklace, and the rest I will hide in our drawers. They just smell so good.
During holidays my Christmas Tic Tac Toe game was a huge hit so I was looking for something similar for Valentine's Day.
The idea was to crochet some small hearts and make the base for the game from felt. I was searching the internet and found a very nice and easy heart crochet pattern at Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom. The pattern is well written and easy to follow, thanks Jamie for sharing it with us.
I user light purple and light pink threads for the hearts. As you can see, the thickness of these threads is different so the size of the tiny hearts is slightly different.
I can't wait to play with this game.
This morning I created two felt coasters for Valentine's Day. I just draw a basic heart shape on a 10cm scuare, created a pattern, cut out of felt and glued to another piece of felt for greater stability.
